The Elmira pool is closed the last 2 weeks of June.  We have pool time at the Fergus pool on June 20th and 27th.  Swimmers registering for either Tuesdays or Thursdays can swim one or both of those days. Sign up for a 1 hour time (4-5pm or 5-6pm). The cost is $10/time.  We have capacity for 36 swimmers per time slot.

The Woolwich Swim Team will compete in four swim meets this summer with the other SWORSA teams from Fergus and Kincardine. The swim meets are optional, but we encourage swimmers participate as they are a lot of fun!

IMPORTANT: Swimmers must compete in Meet #1 (June 10) and/or Meet #2 (June 24) to qualify for the Semi-Finals (July 8). Swimmers must compete in the Semi-Finals to qualify for the Finals (July 22). The top 8 swimmers in each event will qualify for the finals.  Find out more on our website.  Swimmers must register for all 4 meets, even if you cannot come to all of them.  

The Woolwich Swim Team will be hosting a fun meet on Sun. Apr. 30th at 3pm in Elmira. The teams from Fergus and Kincardine will be joining us. The fun meet is optional, but all swimmers are encouraged to participate! 

Our coaches will work with the swimmers to select their events prior to the meet.  Swimmers will be asked to arrive by 2:30pm the day of the meet.

We are partnering with Active Together Family Sports to create opportunities for parents and siblings to be active during swim team practices. 

On Thursdays we are organizing a strength and cardio fitness circuit that can be done on your own or while socializing with others (children are welcome!).  The circuit takes between 30 and 45 minutes and can be done anytime between 5 and 6:15pm. An instructor will be available to demonstrate exercises or suggest modifications.

Where:  Concourse Room at WMC (upstairs by track)
When: Thursdays from Apr. 20th to Jun. 15th (if interest, we will organize outdoor fitness in July)
Cost:  $30/family (any combination of family members can participate each week)

• Children 12 and under must participate with an adult.
• Swimmers are welcome to join before or after their pool time to add some dry land fitness training to their weeks!
• Program will only proceed if there is enough interest to cover room and instructor costs.  You will receive a full refund if cancelled.

Meet up with other runners and walkers for a social jog or walk. Each Tuesday from 5:30 to 6:30pm.  For all ages and abilities. Kids welcome!  No cost or commitment required.
